What the slow way keeps in.
Most soap on a shelf is made fast and hot, with the good parts removed and synthetic detergents added back. Cold-process is the opposite — made low and slow, so the bar keeps what your skin actually wants.
Keeps its glycerin
Saponification naturally produces glycerin — a humectant that draws moisture to skin. Big manufacturers strip it out to sell separately. Cold-process keeps every bit of it in the bar.
Real soap, not detergent
Made from oils and botanicals — not the synthetic surfactants (like SLS) that fill most "soap" bars. True soap, the way it was made before shortcuts.
Preserves the oils
Low-temperature curing protects the integrity of the botanical oils, butters, and extracts that high-heat commercial processing can degrade.
Cured for weeks
A long, patient cure makes a harder, longer-lasting, milder bar — one that holds its shape and lasts in the shower rather than dissolving in days.
