BioSurf Bioactive Microbial Surface Cleaner Concentrate

Bioactive Microbial Surface Cleaner

Surfaces cleaned by biology, not chemistry. Live Bacillus microbes digest the grease and grime other sprays just smear around — then keep working for days after you wipe. Counters, appliances, tile, sealed surfaces. No film. No rinse. No masking.

  • Live Bacillus microbes — digest organic soils on contact, keep working for days
  • Safe for food-contact surfaces — counters, appliances, backsplashes, cabinet faces
  • No-rinse, no-residue — cleans surfaces instead of coating them
  • Sodium gluconate — natural hard-water support, no streaking
  • No bleach · no quats · no synthetic fragrance · drain & septic safe
Concentrate only — spray bottle not included. Use any standard 16 oz or 32 oz spray bottle. No shipping water, no single-use plastic.

Ditch chemical spraying. Clean with biology.

Most surface cleaners coat. Or strip. Or mask. BioSurf does none of those things. Live Bacillus microbes activate on contact with moisture and organic matter, producing the enzymes that digest the proteins, starches, fats, and oils left on counters, walls, tile, and appliances — then keep working for days after you put the cloth away.

Concentrate, not water

Spray bottle not included — on purpose.

BioSurf ships as a pure concentrate. You supply any standard 16 oz or 32 oz spray bottle and add the water yourself. That means no paying to ship a bottle of water across the country, and no single-use plastic sprayer headed for the landfill after one refill.

One bottle of concentrate replaces dozens of pre-mixed sprays. Refill the same bottle, mix fresh, and the live Bacillus is at full strength every time.

The Living Mechanism

4-step microbial action.

Four coordinated stages — penetrate · activate · digest · continue. Each one with a specific job.

1
Tile · Grout · Sealed Surfaces

Penetrate

Bacillus spores reach into porous grout lines and textured surfaces where organic residue collects — the places a surface wipe can't reach.

2
Moisture · Organic Matter

Activate

Contact with moisture and organic residue wakes the spores. They germinate and begin producing enzymes matched to what's on the surface.

3
Proteins · Fats · Oils · Starches

Digest

Enzymes break embedded soils into fragments small enough to wipe away. Grease, food residue, kitchen grime — reduced at the molecular level.

4
Days of Action · No Dry Stop

Continue

Unlike conventional sprays, microbial action doesn't stop when the surface dries. As long as residue remains, Bacillus keeps working.

BioSurf's proprietary bioactive blend is built on the same category of Bacillus technology used in commercial lift stations, food-service facilities, and municipal wastewater pre-treatment across the United States. We scaled commercial-grade biology down for residential use. The chemistry didn't change.

BioSurf surface cleaner — microbes keep working for days after you wipe
Already effective

Now it works for days.

Conventional sprays stop the moment the surface dries. Bacillus microbes don't. As long as moisture and organic matter remain, the microbes keep producing enzymes and breaking down residue — for days, not minutes.

That's why grout brightens over time. Why counters stop holding onto grease after repeated use. Why the same surfaces feel a little cleaner every week you use it.

The Science

Microbial science, sourced from the best in the world.

Commercial-grade microbiology

The same category of Bacillus cultures used in commercial wastewater, septic treatment, and food-service cleaning — scaled down for home use without compromising the biology.

EPA Safer Choice surfactant

Our biodegradable wetting agent is an EPA Safer Choice-approved ingredient — the surface activity the microbes need, without the environmental persistence of conventional surfactants.

Bio-based, not petrochemical

Every active ingredient is bio-based or mineral-derived. No petrochemical solvents, no phosphates, no persistent contaminants. Biodegradable and drain-safe by design.

A note on the blend: our bioactive microbial formulation is proprietary — which is why the panel lists it as "Proprietary Bioactive Microbial Cleaning Blend." We don't disclose the specific Bacillus strains for competitive reasons, but we're happy to share our SDS, EPA Safer Choice certification, and commercial-use documentation with anyone who asks.

1:32 spray

Mix into any standard 16 oz or 32 oz spray bottle. Use pre-mixed solution within 24 hours for peak microbial activity. Always shake before use. Sodium gluconate handles hard water naturally — no separate rinse aid. Do not mix with bleach or quaternary ammonium (quat) disinfectants.

Frequently asked questions

Does a spray bottle come with it?+
No — BioSurf ships as a concentrate only. You'll supply your own spray bottle or pump sprayer; any standard 16 oz or 32 oz bottle works. This keeps packaging minimal, cuts plastic waste, and means you never pay to ship pre-mixed water. Mix fresh batches as needed for maximum microbial activity.
What surfaces can I use it on?+
BioSurf is designed for sealed surfaces: countertops, walls, tile, backsplashes, appliances, cabinet faces, and similar. For natural stone (marble, granite), spot-test first — the mild acidity of the formula (pH 6.0–7.5) is safe for most sealed stone, but verify with your stone-sealer manufacturer.
Is BioSurf safe for pets and kids?+
Yes. BioSurf is fragrance-free, formulated without phosphates or persistent contaminants, and uses a bio-based surfactant system. As with any concentrate, keep out of reach of children and let surfaces dry before reintroducing pets and kids.
Do I really not need to rinse?+
No rinse required. BioSurf cleans without leaving a film or coating — the short ingredient list and low-foam chemistry let the surface dry clean. The microbes continue working on the surface after it dries, by design.
Can I mix it with bleach or disinfectants?+
No. Bleach and quaternary ammonium (quat) disinfectants deactivate the live Bacillus cultures that give BioSurf its performance. Run BioSurf separately — never in the same bottle, or on the same surface immediately after a bleach or quat step.
Does it work on hard water?+
Yes. Sodium gluconate sequesters the calcium and magnesium ions in hard water that normally cause streaking, spotting, and surfactant deactivation. No separate rinse aid or conditioner needed.
How should I mix it, and how long does it last?+
Pre-mixed solution is best used within 24 hours for maximum microbial activity — the cultures are most potent right after dilution. The concentrate itself has a shelf life of 12–18 months from manufacture; store cool and dry with the lid closed.
Is it safe for septic systems?+
Yes. Bacillus-based formulas are used extensively in commercial septic and wastewater treatment because they support — rather than disrupt — the microbial processes that keep those systems functioning. BioSurf is the same category of technology, scaled for home use.
